Roddy swaps his designer suit and shoes for waterproofs and hiking boots and takes off on an unexpected and life-changing journey of self discovery. Alba tells the story of Roddy’s inconvenient quest to scatter his Dad’s ashes at a remote Scottish waterfall. As Roddy sets out along the snowy Cateran Trail just before New Year’s Eve, little does he know that adventure waiting for him on the path ahead. A rousing, foot-stomping folk musical featuring a cast of actor-musicians and an entirely original score inspired by Scottish traditional and folk music.

Alba premiered at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2014.
